Time is Local initiated a dialogue with the museum’s silent statues in a circular, slow walking concert. A 12-hour site-specific, installation concert with compositions created from the mapping of 12 rooms’ distinctive resonance frequencies in the ground floor of sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen’s Museum in the center of Copenhagen.
A work created in collaboration between composer & sound collective We like We and sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard. Time is Local initiated a dialogue with the museum’s silent statues in a circular, slow walking concert, round and round, through the long, color-saturated, labyrinthine hallways from 12:00 – 00:00 o’clock.
