We like We’s debut album is a musical study on the complexity of present life as a human being, caught in between mind, tradition, logic and experience vs. primal instincts such as impuls. It is a reflection on the culture of their classical instruments versus their nature and individuality versus tender and conscious collectiveness. Released on The Being Music, December 2014
We like We consisted of Katinka Fogh Vindelev (vocals) Katrine Grarup Elbo (violin) Sara Nigaard (percussion) & Josefine Opsahl (cello).
Although classically trained, all four shared a desire for exploring, experimenting and shaping a sound of their own, something which is truly present on this album. Both instrumentation and composition feel glued together with an abundant sense of playfulness and vision.
